Desk Drawer

In my desk at work I have a big drawer where I keep all my personal stuff, like trainers, lunch and hairbrushes, etc. My lunch, which my dad makes for me (I know that sounds sad but I don't have time!) just gets tipped straight in there on a morning and I take out what I want when I'm hungry. I usually bring a bottle of squash, a sandwich, fruit, chocolate and crisps. In a day I will have the drink, fruit, and have my sandwich over the hour lunch, making it last the whole hour. The rest gets left. So today I had a proper look in my drawer and it is jam packed with chocolate bars and packets of crisps. It just shocked me how much was there, all that could have been inside me. It's quite nice to see all the food I've resisted over the weeks, and the fact that looking at it now doesn't even temp me.

I finish work at four today, then have an hour driving lesson before I'll have time to get hungry. I'll probably have an apple and banana then when I get home.

I'm going to the cinema tonight. Can't remember what we're supposed to be seeing but I'm looking forward to it anyway. Then tomorrow I'm going swimming for an hour or two. Went last week and I could really feel it on my arms and bum. Hopefully it will start to show on my stomache that it's been exercised.

Next week is the night out in Leeds. Think we've got about ten people definately coming and four or five maybes. Should be a good night. I'm looking forward to the dancing most, and obviously getting pissed. Will be on spirits though so won't be consuming as many calories as the others.

I can't believe how quiet work is at the moment. Obviously it's quiet enough for me to be able to sit here typing this without any bother. I've only taken four calls all day, where I used to be on about sixty. Anyway, suppose I'd better find something to do so I can say I actually earn my wage.
